Puno

Puno is a city in southern Peru located on the shores of Lago Titicaca, one of the largest lakes in South America and the highest navigable body of water in the world. The city is a regional commercial hub and is also considered the “folkloric capital” of Peru for its traditional festivals with lively music and dance performances. Iconic sites include the Catedral de Puno, an Andean baroque-style construction, and the 19th-century vapor Yavarí.

Day 01: Arrival in Puno
Arrival at the bus station and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 02: Puno – Sillustani
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit this Pre-Inca necropolis located on a small peninsular plateau at Laguna Umayo, 32 km northwest of Puno via paved road. This is an interesting archaeological complex, where the majestic funerary towers—featuring Kolla and Inca architectural styles—stand in contrast to the scenic landscape.

Day 03: Departure from Puno
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, transfer to the bus station.
