Overview
This full-day experience combines marine wildlife, cultural traditions, and desert adventure along Peru’s southern coast.

Travel south along the Pan-American Highway to Paracas Bay. From El Chaco Pier, board a speedboat to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins, pelicans, boobies, and other guano birds. During navigation, observe the Candelabro geoglyph etched into a coastal dune.

Continue to the city of Ica for a visit to a traditional winery, where you will learn about the artisanal production of Peruvian wine and pisco, including a tasting session.

In the afternoon, visit the Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by impressive sand dunes. Enjoy an exciting dune buggy ride and sandboarding experience. Return to Lima in the evening

• Clothing & Weather Conditions: Lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended for daytime activities. A hat, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen are strongly advised. Due to Lima’s coastal humidity and temperature variations, a light jacket is recommended for evenings or return journeys.
• Footwear: Several programs include short walks on uneven terrain, docks, sand, archaeological surfaces, or cobblestone streets. Comfortable, closed-toe footwear with good traction is required.
• Accessibility Notice: Many excursions involve stairs, uneven paths, boats, light aircraft, or desert vehicles. Services are generally not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. Please advise in advance to evaluate alternatives.
• Travel Documentation: All participants must carry a valid original passport or national ID card. Documentation may be required for boarding procedures, entry tickets, or local authority checks.
