Ica is a city in southern Peru known for its warm climate, vineyards, and proximity to the desert. It’s famous for producing wine and pisco, as well as for the Huacachina oasis, a popular tourist destination surrounded by sand dunes. It also hosts important archaeological sites such as the Nazca Lines and remnants of pre-Columbian cultures.
Day 01: Lima – Ica
Early arrival in the city of Ica.
Around 2:00 p.m., pick-up from hotels and start of the city tour: visit to the Main Square, Luren Church, and then to the Witches Park of Cachiche where you’ll see the seven-headed palm tree. Next, we’ll visit the artisanal winery El Catador, where you’ll learn about the production of wine and pisco.
Finally, we’ll head to the Huacachina oasis, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and take an adventurous ride in dune buggies and sandboard down the dunes. Return to your hotel.

Free day to check out and do some last-minute shopping before returning to Lima.
