Cusco with Overnight Stay in Machu Picchu

Cusco is a city in the Peruvian Andes that was once the capital of the Inca Empire and is known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial architecture. The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the old city, surrounded by arcades, carved wooden balconies, and remnants of Inca walls. The baroque-style Convent of Santo Domingo was built over the Inca Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), featuring remarkable Inca stonework.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Lima – Cusco
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, a representative will meet us and transfer us to the hotel.

Day 2: Cusco – Aguas Calientes
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the scheduled time, we will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the train station for a 2 to 3-hour journey to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes

Additional Info: The train allows 1 bag or backpack of up to 5 kg.

Day 3: Excursion to Machu Picchu
After breakfast, we will take a 30-minute bus ride ascending to Machu Picchu. We will enjoy a guided tour of the main buildings of the citadel such as: the Observatory, Circular Tower, Solar Clock, Temple of the Three Windows, Intihuatana, Main Square, and ancient cemeteries.
We will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. At the scheduled time, we head to the train station to return to Cusco. Upon arrival, a representative will transfer us back to our hotel.

Day 4: Cusco – Lima
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport with assistance at check-in.
